Géolocation

Category I Land Surveying Project – Ivujivik

At the beginning of 2013, Géolocation completed and delivered final documents for the surveying of Category I lands in the Inuit village of Ivujivik.  This village, Quebec’s most Northerly community, is located on the Strait of Hudson, some 2,000 kilometers from Québec City.  This project, carried out way outside major urban centers, shows the extent of Géolocation’s vast operating range.

For your information, Category I lands are lands reserved exclusively for the use and benefit of Nordic Communities.  (Source: James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement and Complementary Agreements)
