Always keeping abreast of technological developments in geomatics and as an integrator of innovative solutions , Géolocation offers its customers the ability to use imagery with a high spectral resolution (also known as hyperspectral imaging and hyperspectral remote sensing), which is particularly useful for the exploration of natural resources and environmental monitoring . Through the analysis of specific spectral characteristics, remote sensing can now help improving the accuracy of the Earth’s surface characterization. Hyperspectral imaging can be used for example in the mining industry for the detection of miscellaneous minerals, or  in the environment field for gas detection and/or pollution.
